    dotsDarkest Day of the Yeardots

    Upon occasion I find artifacts
When groping about in dim lit corners.
Perhaps some super race once occupied
    These deeply shadowed abiding quarters

What may be a discard-able tool or
    Bobble becomes hope and inspiration
When slithering to a drain and being
Sucked through a pipeline of ascension

Whoa... sucked through a pipeline of ascension, that really does something for my soul there. And also you wrote "discard-able" in a way, where it has that double meaning. Chrys, this really is doing something for me, although I'm not quite there yet. Sucked through a pipeline of ascension, to be reused again. It sort of gets to me, as if everything is cyclical, and everything that is made or everything that is to be made has a use and never stops being useful, but ends up being used for something different. I'd love to know what it was that you found, but honestly, your words have dropped something in my heart and soul that I am really loving right now. Like a penny down a wishing well, that's what it feels like. It gives me hope.

    "Upon occasion I find artifacts

I feel like there should be a comma after artifacts, or at least that's how I read it. Like a wise person, speaking, doesn't speak rushed but slowly. And it doesn't matter because you would wait forever to hear the person say what they have to say.
    Thank you,
