    -------------------------------------------

In the mist of the night, scraping the crushed concrete floor with my left foot
and leaning down to pick up the lonely flower that survived through this entire rumble
Petals blooming through this earthquake like blooming through voids of space and time
perceiving beauty where there is no one to see - beauty in the middle of nothing

Watching the mountains yonder where the sun, the Lord's right eye, sets down after giving warmth to this day
sun rays needing a rest after traveling through layers and layers of this chilly wind
So the dawn has laid to extend for the moon, the Lord's left eye who gives light in these reminiscing moments

Searching for the perfect colours to burst onto this blank canvas
Feeling manipulated by the Count in the tales of Dumas
and confused like structures in the paintings of Esher
But loved like no other love than expressions in poems of Neruda

Dancing in pace with sounds coming out of my mouth
living in words of blues like the sky so high and dreaming of words so red for human touch to love
but undergoing moments of struggle and of joy only in words of . . .
only in words of - acapella
