Daisey blue lies too.. -------------------------------------------
Daisey blue was picked fresh
on a sundays afternoon still dressed in mornings dew.
She was somethin' beautiful.
Put into a vase made and painted just for you.
She was somethin' beautiful.
Sat alone there in the kitchen, listening to
thoughts from someone as lost wandering too..
Staring at Daisey blue lying in water, too cool to move.
Enjoying your crisp newness
untill leaving me wilted/bone dry..
like they always do.
You should know you weren't picked from a few
but, a sea of blue fully bloomed none like you..
Years from now found inside a book..
between pages two hundred and one
and two hundred and two
a forgotten daisey bled out it's blue.
What a beautiful peice!
The part of the piece that shone and in return made it shine was the personification of the flower,
I think the best line was:
"She was somethin' beautiful"
I love that twang that was written in, "somethin'"
