Description: Some days I hate men. Especially my own.
Before She Lives to See Another Day -------------------------------------------
Bound and gaged
Push her forward
Eyes tight shut
Feel her feet on the pavement
Stumble
Rough stone grates the skin
Hurry with the execution
So this can begin again
Hands released
To be tied without remorse
Wooden
Stiff
Standing tall
This woman can never fall
Prisoner
Held captive
Set the fire quick
Now run away
Burn her fast
Before she lives to see another day
I sympathize. There are many days when I'd rather not bother with men. My favorite lines are "Stumble/Rough stones grate the skin/Hurry with the execution", mainly because they seem to go "trippingly on the tongue", as Hamlet said. You kept to some kind of meter pretty consistently, and as always your grammar/spelling was impeccable. I hope your relationship rights itself.
