Bones Beneath My Boots


I want to burn the world to ashes,
I want to blacken the sky.
I want to crush the bones beneath my boots,
And watch the whole world die.
All of it to wither to nothing,
The all of it to explode.
There is something deep inside of me
And it is in peril, to implode.
If only I could be calm,
Learn to keep my head in control-
My heart would not be aching
And my soul would not be on parole.
