       Life in my dorm room.

    dots21' X 10' Jaildots

    Trapped in a room,
    Never seeing the daylight,
Never hearing the wonders of nature,
Always fearful of what could come in,
Always happy to sleep away the pain.
    Entering a whirlwind of emotions,
    Whenever they are outside,
    They linger for hours,
    Stay late into the night.
The door is locked from the inside,
    But chained from the out,
    The windows open
    So that I could scream,
But the screens are thicker than steel
So the sound just bounces back,
    The walls are thin
    So every word
    Of theirs is heard,
    But thick enough
    For them to forget
    My existence within.
    There is no escape,
    No way to sneak by,
    They stare as if I
    Were an ameba.
    They control whether
    I stay or leave,
    They control whether
    I sleep or lay awake.
    Held captive,
    In my own room.

The content is good, just work a little bit on the flow and it can be a lot better. Nice imagination though.
