Who is free? -------------------------------------------
Who is free?
Freedom...
As I was struggling to make my way
to the washroom from the large church room in my lacey black high heels
I saw people looking at me.
It's plainly obvious that
I'm different from everyone else there.
Ripped jeans.
Sexy black stilletos.
Stylish office jacket.
Cleavage visible.
Oh and not to mention the fact that
I'm not one bit religious.
I tell myself it's because
I'm much more free than them.
But than I think about my father
and how free he is.
He has no rules.
And that defines him.
But it also confines him.
Freedom can keep you prisoner.
It can make you run.
It can lock you up.
But despite it all;
I still think I'm the freest one
in this room of 5 or 6 dozen people.
I am free.
And I refuse to be sorry.
Any type of belief makes you a fool.
If you believe in god;
than you are a slave to God.
If you believe you're free;
than you are a slave to freedom.
If you believe you don't believe in anything;
than you are denying your opinions
and are a slave to lies.
Sorry, but I'm not really sorry.
So who is free?
No one is truly free.... whether your a prisoner of your own self, or you are bossed around by others, we all aren't ever truly and honestly free.
We are bound by rules and laws that keep us confined.
we are free though, to make our own choices. including going to church.
In this little rant of yours, lol, it's clear that you are not religous and that you think worshipping God is only going to tie you down.
I myself think that going to church is a waste of time if that's not what you beleive in. I'm forced to go all the time.
And I do feel like prisoner there.
but anyways, I liked this. It made me think.... that's always good.
