    the neon lights compell me.
    more than they had before.
Empty and aching I carry on
    continueing my search for more.

    searching every moment left
for a way to just forget
    so I can live again
    live again with out regret.

I've been holding on so long.
far too long I'm stretched too thin.
to walk away and be left here
I dont want to be your friend.

I have waisted so much time
    exhausted all I have inside.
on some one who was never worthy
to be mine or anothers bride.

all bets are off and so my ring
each and ever vow now void.
caused by all that you've forsaken
and the life that you've destroyed.

Very powerful and very moving. Your pain really comes through as well as some other powerful emotions-anger & betrayal... The piece flows well and reads very easily...great write!
