Does this count as angst? If so, I'm sorry. I just wrote this from personal experience...

    We all know
    what itís like when
    youíre only a shadow
    to the one
    you love.
    But what if it was
    the other way

    What about when the one
    you like is the one
    that loves you?
    What about
    when theyíre
    the invisible one?

    Itís scary. Thatís
    for sure, with them
    following you,
    giving everything and
    asking for nothing
    but your
    Your love.

    But you
    have no love
    to give them, so
    what happens?
    What happens when
    youíre being smothered in

    Donít wish it
    on any enemies,
    donít wish the mild
    like, pain, guilt,
    the absolute hell
    that it puts you through.
    But if itís bad
    for you, what
    about them?

    What about the one
    who is invisible,
    the one who
    you canít notice
    even if you try.
    What happens to
    the one who
    loves you?

    They canít help
    it. Itís not their fault
    that youíre so damn
    lovable. What should
    you be feeling?

    You hate
    yourself, for putting
    them through this
    hellfire. But youíre
    flattered. Who
    wouldnít? And
    then you hate
    yourself even more,
    for even thinking about
    being happy when
    that poor soul
    is miserable,
    heartsick, all
    because you canít
    bring yourself to love.

    Love sucks. Thatís
    the bitter truth.
    If youíre able to
    walk the thin
    line between true
    love and obsession,
    watch out. It only
    takes a tiny push
    to send you falling
    forever to the
    depressing chasm
    that is

I wouldnt say angst, because although it might be about personal experience its not just a me me me statement like all the other self-obsessed emotional "poets" you get up here.

Its not great, but I think the fact you attempted to contribute a bit of thought to a common problem is admirable.

I think maybe you should have classified it as random thoughts more so than poetry.

But yeah no one likes a lap dog,tis very true.

People are more likely to feel passionate about the un-obtainable,go out with anyone for six months and you get used to having them around, but its doesnt have the thrill of the chase.

You can get a big ego from that.

    Anyhow good luck

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
