Description:

The Jewel Box

No one ever really grows up
just bit by bit as time goes on
joining ranks with those thoughted grown
offering empty coffee cup
to you as eager hungry pup
eager to follow not your own
with sense of being not alone,
never ever really grown up.

As time will swing its way around
and haunt you to your very soul
when you thought you walked safer ground,
harbouring that which you'd not found,
memories dream those days of old
reminding you life has its toll.
