    i wonder what went wrong
    neither of us know
i sit here in your arms
    unwilling to let go

i know we had our share
    of memories good and bad
    although we always fought
neither of us could stay mad

    but this time was different
this fight wasn't going to end
i never thought you would leave me
with this heart no one can mend

    the hardest thing about this
was forcing myself to let go
    i had to pull away
i couldn't let my feelings show

    moving on is hard
but time will heal the pain
    although it seems unbearable
i will not suffer in vain.

this is a nice description of letting go but most
would be angry but this shows a lot of maturity on your part be well and stay strong

It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
