God has kept me alive,
Jesus has protected and saved me,
So to deny their existance is to deny my own,
Not to believe in their reality is to say that I am not real,
To forget God is to say that I also am not worthy of recognition,
To war against Christ is to call me your enemy,
To say He does not live,
Would be to say that I am dead,
For what is life but faith?
We believe we will wake up in the morning,
And we believe that we will have our jobs for the day,
We believe that we will live day by day,
Hour by hour,
And that we are all but untouchable by death,
That our actions have few consequences,
So what is faith?
But living what we believe,
Well what I believe,
Kept me living,
Now all aspects of our lives,
Are not invincible,
Bodies are destroyable,
Jobs loseable,
And lives ruinable,
But faith is eternal,
It can give man reason to live,
When his job,
Family,
Friends,
And health have deserted him,
So you know for certain now,
That I choose my faith,
Over my life,
For what is life without faith? |
