With the choices I make,
The tasks I undertake,
The people I fail,
In wanting to do my own will,
I have been kind, sure,
But for what? I can guarantee the intentions weren't pure,
So I ask,
Have you ever failed, and it felt like your last,
My words,
What good have they been, perhaps as swords,
Daggers,
That's what I get for trying to walk like a swagger,
So what do I do?
My guess start with sorry, okay what about step two?
Well I just apologize,
And do my best to live not a good life,
I want better, I want a Godly life,
Time to be free from lies,
From harming others,
Kindness must rule this warrior,
Ther is a time for war,
For anger, for swords,
But now,
At this time, I must put my weapons down,
And aid my neighbors,
For they are not traitors,
But friends,
So to my old self, I put an end. |
