“Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.”

    Stringing the beads of shame
    One after the other
    Making yourself a name
A name to use as shade, as a cover

Because when life takes its toll
Remember your past, as it was told
As you come to a fork in the road
Remember your past, as your future begins to unfold

This is when the beads of shame fluctuate, they hesitate
Because they know your past too
As your soul they simply desecrate
But surely this you knew to be true

So what shall you tell them in the end?
Will you be able to carry on
With the knowledge that they will soon descend
Because they know the beads you have forgone?

    Why keep stringing
    When they already know?

    Just stay strong.

    They know.
