The cities of a once great nation in flames
The scarlet stained flag waving in the wind
The ashes of the burned buildings fill the air
The powerful memorials lying broken in the dirt
The people cry over their destroyed nation
The homeless wander the streets hopelessly
Lost in their own sorrow they march onward
Limping along towards their assured demise
Their conquistadors stare wordlessly
Aware of what they've done
Hording their plunder which they have stolen
Beaten down the inferior people before them
In the wake of the destruction
Nature moves in to reclaim her land
Erasing what is left of the ruined nation
Expelling the peoples pain from around her
The ruined nation waves its scarlet stained flag
It's remnants and treasure quickly disappear
It's existence is nearing it's end
The flames dying with the ruined nation
