    -------------------------------------------

    Though I am consumed,
by the smooth tone of your alluring body.
    Though I am captivated,
by the poetic lust of your words.

And though I am caught up in passion
aroused by the touch of your fingertips,

    I know this shooting star,
as elegant and luscious as it is,
is to become a deceiving memory
I will struggle to let go.

But I will give your passion wings, even so,
that it may keep its freedom.

One twilight of an evening, far from now,
thoughts of you will creep into sight,
though I will try to hide them,
though I will try to fight them,

And I will miss your virile fragrance,
mixed with the hint of perspiration.
And the slight taste of alcohol from your lips
as they met mine below heavy eyes.

I will then long for the laughter that escaped
from lips that never knew how.
And the shy giggles I alway tried to hide
the times you made me blush.

    (Which you did quite often,
    and you loved it.)

As I am lying detached, wherever I rest my head,
I will even want for those disagreements..
That revealed even through our furious contention,
our passion remained evident by spirited flames.

Feelings I'd never known, introduced themselves to me.
I was upset, I was radiant, I was mistaken.
All at once. With a kiss of bittersweet bliss,
and knowing, that it could never remain permanent.

Not every enchantment is meant for endurance.
    Some blend into old age.
    Some are beautful melodies,
fading into an epic last note.

    (And some became memories
before they ever had the chance to end.)

wow, i really liked it. It was very creative. I like how you expressed your feelings of how you felt about the love you had with the person, and how you touched on the way you would miss everything, the good, along with the bad. well done. and welcome to the site. hope you enjoy it.

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
