Here I am,
A man,
Eyes wide open,
Hands trembling with fear,
With my mind screaming thoughts.
Must people fight?
Must they lie?
Lust, and cry?
Who sees the justice,
Amidst the unreasonable injustices?
Here again I stand,
A mere mortal,
Drowning in the subconscious of humanity,
Drenched in ignorant oppression,
Bathing in the light of Disdained youthfulness.
Is there no end,
To the convoluted wavering of one's mind?
Is there no end to the subjugation of defeat,
When we cannot find the answer,
Or when something becomes too hard?
Here I am,
A creature,
Crawling on the ground,
Below the footfalls of humanity.
Only waiting to be simply crushed under the Weight of selfishness.
So. As an insect,
Something so pitiful,
So ridiculous,
End my pains and misery,
By standing tall upon my heart. |
