    I guess by definition
    I'm an emo kid
but no amount of slashing of the wrist
Could reach as deep or bleed as complete as my pen
So I relinquish the task to its most capable ink
Sink deep within my sorrows and let my paper drink the refuse
This art here is much more self mutilating than self abuse
The tracks that I've slashed across pads is deeper than pain
    and more refreshing than rain
    this thing in my hand
Is the sharpest razor ever made
Who knew papermate could create such a tool of self mutilation
Ripping past flesh into my spirit
just to express a distress that can never be relinquished
So I obsess over the mess that is my greatness
    My art
Is as harmful to me as it is beautiful to read
Emo poetry from little emo me
But like every poet I know I'm an oxymoron
Rules in my mind don't ascribe to the world that you're on
See when I say I'm an emo kid I don't mean I'm mad emotional or depressed
    I mean that I'm emotionless
In the world of lyrical prowess you must maintain duress
But I've relinquished all concept of feeling so that I'm beyond numb inside
Numb seeks me out to confide
Using me to describe how he feels inside
    Emo kid inside out
I'm the least bit concerned about how I feel
I reveal it so frequently because it means nothing to me
Say what you want at the end of the day I'm still goin to be me
and you could never be me
Like a blind man in a mirror house
    you can't see me
    Lonely
I came in this world alone and thus shall I leave
Peace would be if I could be alone that future comes to be
but as it is I must share breath with inanimate spirits that call themselves humans
Wondering why I'm so detached from you men
Emoticons is the only way I can relate to you all
    Meet me on a page
You can just as easily write what you're about to say
    :-)

    And I'm out

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
