    -------------------------------------------

    Glasses full,
    laughter empty,
    feeble promise,
    fictions plenty.
    My exploited weaknesses,
    became alibi,
    for your bullshit utterance
    and the pastimes you deny.

    Oh little boy
    how you felt so good,
    under the covers,
when we would pretend to be lovers.
    We were superficial strangers,
    spelling Jack four and three,
    fitting flesh in the silence
    with a demise guaranteed.

    Knife in your back,
    self-inflicted it seems,
    whether my hand or not,
    was due to your schemes.
    Quiescence so deafening,
    so difficult to ignore,
    the substitution from companion
    to uninhibited whore;
and it was never really over,
    for it never did begin,
    no rapport in the passion,
    just skin against skin.
    We walked away still strangers,
    affirming great affection,
    both aware of the nothingness,
    thus, unscathing rejection.

    … but oh little boy
    how it just made sense,
    to be so oblivious
    when feeling so lascivious.
    You were always so adoring,
    spelling Jack four and three,
    never really comprehending
    that isn’t what it means.

Just going to read your other stuff. Your comments show a literate and interested person! I guess everybody is interested, and it is not compulsory to be literate ... what are the funny-looking letters in the last line? Maybe I'm illiterate??

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
