    I am still a believer
All events good or bad happen for an underlying reason
Although some of these reasons we learn later rather than sooner

For this I am left wondering most of my days.
"Quiet frankly I am not a fan of the waiting game"

Saddened by the truths my past hold
Disgusted by not having this wanted knowledge I long for
Disturbed by the actions of others
Those whom cause pain within our lives
And these painful events still occur and keep occurring

    I Ask You!

In a world created by a God?
A God suppose to mend our wounds and take our pain away.

    Yet here I am...
    Left suffering
    Bleeding from the inside
    Screaming from the outside
Ironic no one is near to hear my cries

NOT even this Great and Powerful God

Am new to commenting, but this is a response to your thoughts:

The concept of God helping people is somewhat bizarre to me. There is a saying that goes "God helps those who help themselves".

What you wrote rings bells, especially the part "Saddened by ..." It reflects a pretty well laid thought of being haunted by their past.

Yet, this is life, and we are but humans. We almost never understand the relevance of history and most of the times understand what it has to say after living through moments.

A wise old German once said "we get too soon oldt, and too late schmardt".

And so we learn more by our mistakes and by experience than we do from lessons; trouble is, they have already been made and the harm they caused is already done and the pain felt.

We're not given a perfect world; we'd die of boredom if we were. But, god, don't we wish it were maybe a little more perfect, or at least, some of the time.

We all hear and feel your pain here, and if it were physically possible, we'd all give you a caring hug. The way it is though, we can all only listen and silently wish you well, and hope you get through all this.

It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
