Titans were these gigantic figures in myth.
They seemed unbeatable,
Strong as they were capable,
And as human as any human.
I know a titan, a great titan
The greatest of them all.
Stronger than superman,
Bigger than a mountain,
And he knows no fear.
Wrestle him and see, he won’t be beat,
Stand on your tip-toes, he won’t shrink,
Say “boo”, he won’t scream.
He loves me, this titan,
Loves me so much.
I’ve known him all my life.
Got a secret though,
He’s a real softy.
Writes me poems he does,
Gives me hugs and kisses,
Calls me his little princess,
And he’s my Knight-In-Shining-Armor
And sometimes a stand-in Prince Charming.
Titans are myths,
But he ain’t,
How can he be?
He’s the real deal,
He’s the legendary Atlas,
But I don’t call him that.
I gave this titan a special name,
A name that only I can call him.
I call him “Daddy”,
my titan of a father. |
