I went out on a limb for you!
    I put out hope
I really do mean something to you

It all seems surreal looking back at it now,
yet it speak volumes to me.

I acknowledge I mean nothing to you,
    For this,
    I cry these tears.

    I am your blood,
    your offspring.

SO how can you just cut the cord?
I attempted suicide due to your actions,
I lost my innocents at age 12 by my step father...
    you looked the other way

    WHAT THE DID YOU E X P E C T?

    My suicide,
is your DAM justification to slaughter
a relationship we could have had?
Your... defense is lame at best!

A glimpse of me is a simple yet a difficult reminder to yourself,
    of all your faults,
    all your failures.

I am an unwilling failure in your eyes,
    due to these unraveling revelations.
A relationship with you Mother, is no longer possible!

Wow! I too lost my innocents by my real father at age 11 is when it started. My real mom blames me for what happend.
She Is a heavey drinker. Still to this day.
I got kicked out at 16 years old. Tryied the suiced thing....
Did many stupied things and tryied for many years to get her acceptance. I was rejected time and time again. So I turned to alcohol which lead to looking for love in all the wrong places.
I have not seen that man since I was 13...
When it finaly came up -----
And I am doing great. I got a new family.
And met my adopted parents at 16 almost 17.
They are still there for me.
    Thanks for that poem. wow!

I wish my mother could have read this a few years ago. The beganning, saying, that you onced had hoped that you meant somthing to her, only to be crushed in the end to relaize that you don't. Its a truly heart braking poem. The acknowlegment, of knowing that you can never have a relationship with her. Knowing, that things will never be the way you want them to be.

When you talk about, crying, because you relaize all this, and you wonder, why she cut the cord. why she decided to push you away.
I think, that this was the seconed deepest part of the poem, maybe even the deepest.

I also found it interesting how you highlighted the words you wanted seen. It was a good way of doing it
