    Space Ships

To be out amongst the stars
to hold in view the sublime lights of origination
and see in my tiny palm
    a shinning galactic heart
    I a grain of sand
    imagining by distance
    to be an ocean

To be out amidst the stars
    where nebula and mote
    experience birth and death
    in endless time
to feel all initiation surrounding me
and I like some pre antiquarian fish
    gliding with ease

To be gathered with the stars
and shuck off the bond of gravity
to let loose the constraints of imagination
and so passing unhindered to eternity
to discover the vistas of a universal nation
    encountering actual life

To be out riding with the stars
    never again to be constrained
    to peer through clouds
    instead to witness the spectacle
    the awesome unrepeatable dimensions
in the monumental beauty of our true abode

To be out there with the stars
and be in part the eyes and ears of my author
    an intelligence exulting made perfection
    understanding that from the smallest
    to the incomprehensibly endless
to become a grain of sand
I am born in the celestial furnaces

    To be there
    just to be there
    out there with the stars
and contain in my eye the reality of being
all the empirical majesty of conceptions creation
    to hold in my survey
    if only for a moment
    my parent and my home

Breathtakingly beautiful and trandescental. To be there, indeed! Gorgeously put, wonderfully chosen concept put into perspective with skillfully formed verses. We both dream of expiriencing great things and capturing great knowledge. A favorite.
