These things we name friends
What are they for? To help us? To guide us?
Both, friends can be anything you desire, but one main flaw in having friends
They turn in the blink of an eye, they strike like venomous snakes when you are most open
The people you trust turn around and bite you
Causing everything you have to fade, some people build structures atop friends
Then their structures collapse when their foundation moves or shakes
I build my structures atop myself, all the weight of my world upon my shoulders
Because friends are not to be trusted, they are merely tools to be used
I choose to be and think like I do, I do not have these things names 'Friends'
I have allies... |
