Night Whispers -------------------------------------------
Night Whispers
The quiet witch’s purple of night
Hit by the artists of stars
The mysterious bridge which hangs between
The splash of light
Where you have been
And where you are
Velvet print of the moon
Blue to clouds it hangs full
Silver platter hammered out by dreams
Reflects its spray upon the sea
As Cytherea welded love to the skies
And fairy light the distant winking of wings
Nudges on to its distance
Calling with that soft jet engine roar
To places so far it has seen before
And carry me there
Not leave me sitting here
Star struck by the shore
With a wing and a prayer
The plush heat of summer breezes blow
Gentle fingers of the dark
And they finally leave their finger marks
On timeless whispers caught by waves
And from themselves
And from my lips
Reverberates every syllable
Of your name
Alone in the dunes
And comforted by cliffs
The eternal and I breathe one so slowly
We hang together on this mysterious bridge
And look up at the splash of light
Where you have been
And where you are
Soft foot print the moon
True to the clouds I hang full
The silver platter hammered out by my dreams
Reflects my love upon the sea
When Cytherea welded love to the stars
I really enjoyed this poem and in the beging of the poem it kind seemed like I was in a fairy tale under the stars and moon, and some how in a summer day next...
