A poem about a castle/mansion full of wandering lost souls, and to stand in front of it would mean your soul to be lost as well.

    dotsThe Darkest Placedots

There are flowers in the meadow
    Big ones, and small
    Of the darkest shadow
    A few bugs shall crawl.

    Like painting a picture
    A dash of color
    Like a faded picture
    Dark bleeding palour.

    Even when bright
    The sun don't shine
    And flowers shed no light
Even a shadow of a line.

    But in the midst
    A dark tower looms
    Surrounded by mist
So dark and full of gloom.

    The piercing cries
    Of spirits passed
    Cover your eyes
    Only a second to last.

    Fearful of death
    Unable to stand
    To take in a breath
A front a castle so grand.

    You can read the history
    Inside and out
    A past filled with fury
    You steady your mount.

    Ride closer you do
    Until its close upon
    And a shadow consumes you
    And your presence is gone.

    Locked inside
    Forever and a day
    Your spirit to confide
    And suffer a darker day.

How dark and full of hate
    Could be such a place
    Only one which brings fate
    And death we shall face.

    For caught in the shadow
    An unbeatable race
    Your spirit trapped and hollow
    even in the darkest place.
