Description:

Regrets

People like me never change.
It seems that i am caught,
In this weary game
Of playing someone that i'm not.
It all seems so simple.
Find the key or pick the lock
Or build myself a fortress
With a wish inspired clock.
If only i could take it back-
All that i have done.
I wonder if my will has lost
Or if my vices won.
I've given all that i could spare
Getting nothing in return.
All that's left is ash....
People like me never learn.

  How do Voodoo.
You should feel pleased with your effort for you have eloquently articulated what most of us have gone or will go through.
Self doubt, unworthiness, disorientation the list goes on.
I think you should be able to strike out self doubt for a while though...
later.

wow....that's kinda depressing, but then again really well written. I like the fact that you actually use poetry that rhymes, and has a rhythm instead of some of the other types, although those can definitely be cool too.
