    dotsperhaps it's betterdots
    -------------------------------------------

    Sometimes I wonder
    what is better for us
    Sometimes I sit and ponder
what future we had for us
    Why it never came through
Why it seem to be you
Who felt the need to rib me apart.
and shatter my already aching heart.

Perhaps this is better for us
to see you hate with guts.
    You said you loved me
    But it was really he
    Who had your heart.

    Perhaps it's better this way
    That you hate me today.

    do you remember out kisses?
    How much I miss them...
Do you remember our time together?
When I said I loved you forever?
    Do you remember your promises?
And all the things you said?

    Perhaps it's better this way.
    that you hate me today.
    Our memories will go
    Fly away to the unknown.
    Perhaps it's better this way
    Your hate for me today.

girls are mean. sorry. its true. and if i could apologise on our behalf to the entire male species i would. though having said that boys arent entirely without blame too.

i had a singlet top that said "boys lie" and i was wearing it at a music festival once and there was this boy there wearing a shirt that said "girls are mean" and someone thought we were boyfriend and girlfriend having some kind of arguement with our tops haha! took me all day to work out what people were on about when they'd randomly tell me they'd just seen my boy friend haha.

anyways.. sorry to be continually linking you to the world but maybe you might wanna check out this:

i love this guys take on breakups...

    perhaps its better...
it never seems better at the time but when you are able to look back and see how unperfect it all was then it does seem better. but the first weeks... always suck..

one time i "fell in love" with a guy at a wedding while i was drinking rum straight [not a very glorious story at all really and not one to be tried again haha] and i think he was my "boyfriend" for about a month until i realised we had nothing in comon... that we were incapable of spending together without alcohol [i never used to drink but its all he ever did and i "loved" him so i would drink too... [girls are pathetic!]] and i was wondering what the deal was when he rings me up and says "hey babe... i think we should be friends..." i was totally fine with that until the next week when i saw him back with his ex-girl!
who knows why i was so hurt by that considering i didnt really "like" him... you know? but the heart is fickle and crazy and just cannot be trusted really.

you prolly wanna edit this piece a lil... rib me apart ought to be rip... do you remmeber out kisses ought to be our kisses... spell check it awesome though if the wrong words are spelt correctly then i guess its not as awesome as you'd hope haha!

what are your views on this poem and this girl now that we're 6 months down the track..? always an interesting thing to revisit...
