Description: A teenage girl, heartbroken, takes down pictures of the boy she loves with all her heart
They had been best friends and dated for years, she moved away from him and by putting away anything that he ever gave her, she starts the process of letting him go.
Put away the memories -------------------------------------------
Tonight, with tearfilled eyes
I take down all your pictures
and put them somewhere safe
The charm from the necklas you gave me
sits in my jewlry box now
for the first time in its existance
All the notes you ever wrote me
lay neatly in a make-shift bag
a pocket from my favorite jeans
I have to let go now
and this is where i start
I put away your memories
Days I'll never be able to forget
The greatest days of my life
The ones i spent with you
Tonight, with tearfilled eyes
I take down all your pictures
Tomorrow, Ill move on with my life
Hmm. Interesting. There are quite a few misspellings in this piece. However, I do commend this piece because of how well you executed your idea. I believe that if you were to expand this poem then it would be much better than it already is. Keep writing, and drop by and comment some of my stuff.
