Meeting The One -------------------------------------------
Meeting the one is not as hard as it seems
It isn't impossible as most like to believe
The secret to finding the one
Is to not go looking for perfection all over the scenes
Finding the love you are looking to retrieve
Is not so hard to realise
As it is to concieve
All you need to do is believe
And take off your disguise..
The way to meet the one
Is to not go looking for fun
Certainly the one will come to you
Maybe from knowing..
Or out of the blue.
You will know when you encounter this
Instantly you will be drawn to eternal bliss..
Like a thousand moments captured inside a kiss.
Things are so different with true love..
Everything feels perfect, nothing goes wrong.
It feels like blessings from above..
This love will fill your heart full with song..
Its the kind of love that keeps you strong.
You will wish you had this love all along.
True love means not relationship per sŤ
It is to know each others every way.
Listening to what the other has to say.
It is growing old together..
And to face stormy weather..together.
Then thinking how love started back in the day
And love be all you need to pay.
As I read this, I internally debated on what to say in a comment. Either I could drag on about the interesting rhyme scheme and how much I enjoyed the way it flowed, or I could be like every good satirical person and say how I relate to such a piece. Or just comment on the interesting issue at hand, "the one."
I believe that whether a person believes in fate, soulmates, or any of that, if they find someone who they fall in love with, they will inevitably find themselves calling them "the one." Whether they looked for them, or if they just got found by love...love is love, and it's just that simple.
I loved this piece most because of the last paragraph. We often to associate love with the wrong things. But you have absolutely hit it on the head in this write...it's about knowing eachother, being a part of eachother, and being all one another needs. I commend you greatly on this piece as it truly spoke a lot of meaning and truth about the topic of love itself. Whether we believe in "the one" or are just frantically searching for SOMEone...love is love, and that's all there really is to it.
