I like the poem because it is a very different take
on the subject. I do not believe you intended for a world without love. My take on it was you going through a rough patch with love, and expressing your emotions on how it's not always Happily Ever After or a Dream Come True.
It's 100% true to life, not everything or everyday is going to be a fairy tale!!!!!!!!!
Either way my friend I'm afraid it will find you one day and your poem will change.
Good luck The Kidd
What is love? Needless, perhaps, perhaps. However, think about a world without love. Filled with only hate. One might argue that the world is already a spiteful, hateful place, but it does have love, hidden in the corners, lurking in the hearts of a stranger. It's there. It's real. And, it makes the world go round and round. Love is standing up for someone even when no one else will. Love is being there when someone needs you. Love is unconditional and fervent. Love is sweet and heart breaking. Love is a fever of endless turmoil sketched with the passion of trust and care. Love is...everything that makes the world not so bad, after all.
Maybe someday we'll talk more on the subject, but, alas, I cannot follow the instructions of your poem to the tee.
Chin up, soldier. Everything will be okay. The light again will shine upon you, and fresh breath will flow through your lungs, invigorating your bloodflow. Life will go on, because the show never ends.
It will work out. I don't know how. I don't know when. But, it will.
Smile. It's good for the soul. May rainbows adorn every cloud of your life and may a diamond wind blow inspiration your way.
