    dotsMessage From The Seadots

    Once upon a bottle
    upon the deep blue sea
    was a message coddled
    for future eyes to see.

    The captain of the ship
    lifted bottle aboard ,
    pulled the cork from its lip
    and read his'try alored.

    Twas by a man called noe
    of ancient yiddish word ,
    Captain of ark named Joe,
    forty days of rain heard.

    There was a list of things
    aboard good ship named Joe,
    two cows with bell that rings
    and creatures known to Noe.

    No snakes nor worms were there;
    no rats nor mice that chew ;
    a hen and cock up stair;
    a lamb and ox for stew.

    An ass to carry load
    and all of worth to man;
    grains of oats to be sowed;
    none the things that were banned.

    End of list had a warn
    bottle must hold the list
    of all things in the barn
    then cast into the mist.

    Where ark did settle down
    is secret all untold
    though searchers ever frown
    questing ark worth much gold.

    Some say ark lies on mount
    hidden in covered cave
    though ages gone do count
    thousand tries to find grave.

    Things made by humankind
    all seem to rust and rot
    but Bible with its mind
    will prove what is or not.

    Someday in ripened time
    when Bible unbelieved
    the bell on ark will chime
    and hell will cease deceive.

    Thus the ark as twas built
    will ever spur us on
    to dig through dreams of silts'
    e'er born, e'er worn adorn.

    And so until the time
    when mystery is solved
    riddles will always rhyme
    and search will e'er evolve.
