Lights fill up my hollow hide.
The circus has arrived.
I hear the crowds jeering and teasing.
While I stand on a small string pleasing.
I take each step carefully.
The crowd shouts and howls tauntingly.
I fell a great fall that day.
When the circus and I came.
Falling through the air swiftly.
I was like a flamingo or a rare exotic bird gaining my liberty that day.
Oh I fell a great fall that day, when the circus and I came. |
