Written under the heavy influence of acid and in total darkness, it is personally my favourite poem out of all of them

    dotsThe Nightdots

    We are born of power
But bored of the god we see inside ourselves

Fighting enemies of both mortal and mind
    Weakness that overcomes loyalty
    Failing your friends

    There is the night

Dark and cold in this winter's curse

Silence is what echoes down the alleyways
Let the moon guide you to your destination

    Through fields
    Down streets
    Over oceans

    Be the moon

Dance in the face of light and time
Let yourself be out of control
Flail and turn to the music

    Where am i?

    The night

    Endless maze of visions

    Why can't i see?

Clouds high above cover our light

    Home is hard to find
    Is this it?
Is this all that is left?
    Is this my final destination?
    Maybe i am home
    Lost in this maze
    This is my home

    The night

reading this i feel as though i'm looking at the movie "the doors" again, although i agree with NATHAN in a way - a little more imagery - it is QUITE understood that this is what you CAN express under such "conditions"... i can truly relate... when i was under the same sort of influence, i wrote like crazy... but it didn't make any sense...
