    Have you ever noticed
    That’s it’s the things you love
    That always come back to bite you?

    Don’t think about them
    Just keep pushing away
    And maybe you’ll forget someday

    But nothing will ever dull the pain
    Not even pretending you’re okay
    They see right through you

    Your eyes tell your story
    Through the tears that they spill
    And if you don’t come clean yourself,
    No one ever will
