A 14 year old boy with dark blue hair and midnight blue eyes stood in the rain while hugging a girl his age. The girl had blood red hair and silver eyes, she hugged the boy tightly.
The boy whispered. "Kat..I didn't want you to go or ever leave my side.." He felt Kat hug him tigher then he did the same.
Kat laid her head on his chest as tears started to fall and her voice starts to break. "I don't want to leave! It isn't fair Blue!"
Blue kissed her head and placed his hand on her head. "I know it isn't.. But you have to promise me, you will make new friends, be happy, and never forget me because i won't ever forget the best thing in my life."
Kat nodded and closed her eyes tightly."I won't ever forget about you I promise that.." She felt him wrap his fingers around her chin and lifted up her head towards him and looked into his eyes while he looked into hers.
"I want to make another promise to you too." He smiled then kissed her gently and moved Kat's hair from her face. "When we get older I promise that we will get married and be together forever." He put a ring on her finger. "That is my promise to you until we see each other again."
Kat smiled a bit and hugged him tighter. "Ok until then." She closed her eyes again and felt Blue place his coat on her shoulders. "I'm really going to miss you.." She said quietly.
"I'm really going to miss you too.." He felt her let him go and walk to her car where her dad and brother waited in the car. "I love you.." He just stood there in the rain while they drove off. He wipped his eyes and started to walk home slowly alone.
5 years pass by since that painful day. Blue opened his eyes as he looked up at the sun setting slowly. "I miss you more and more everyday Kat.." He whispered to himself then stood up from the hill he was sitting on and grabbed his bag off the ground. He walked through town to the club downtown then went inside, his bag landed behind the bar as he walked up to the DJ stand. He grabbed the headphones and slid them around his neck.
People started walking into the club in groups, couples, and some came in alone. A guy with dirty blonde hair walked in with a girl with blood red hair while holding her hand. The girl smiled and walked off to the bar. "Can I get a bottle of water?"
The bartender nodded and handed her the bottle of water. "Here you go ma'am." He said then turned to another person ordering.
The girl opened the bottle of water and started drinking. She closed her eyes and sighed deeply. She heard some guy walk over to her and say "How about me and you dance." She opened her eyes then punched the guy. "Get lost." She watched him get up then walked off while holding his nose.
Blue looked around the club and leaned back against the wall behind him and yawned a bit. "Why did I take this job again..?" He mumbled to himself while looking at the club and stopped on the red haired girl."That couldn't be her could it..?" He whispered in a breathless voice.
The girl looked around the place then looked up at the DJ stand and saw Blue staring at her. Her eyes widen and raised from her chair slowly then made her way to the stand. "Blue.."
Blue smiled and felt his tears fill his eyes. "Kat.." He took off the headphones then ran to her and hugged her tightly. "I can't beleive your back!" He kissed her but felt her move away. "Let me guess your here with someone else." He narrowed his eyes then sighed deeply.
Kat hugged him tighter and closed her eyes tightly. "I'm really sorry Blue."
"It doesn't matter! I just glad your back." He said while smiling and felt something pulling at his heart repeativily.
The guy that walked in with Kat saw both of them hugging each other then started making his way towards them and stopped. "Who's he?"
Kat stopped hugging Blue and turned around smiling. "Mark this is Blue the person that I told you about before. Blue this is Mark my.. boyfriend.." She said queitly and stood there looking at both of the guys wondering what might happen between them at that moment.
"Nice to meet you." Both of them said it at the same time while shaking hands.
Blue looked back at the stand and sighed. "Hey I have to get back to work." He smiled then hugged her again. "I'll see you around and we can hang out again like we used to."
Kat stood there as he turned away and walked back to the stand. She closed her eyes then walked passed Mark and went outside then hugged herself tightly. "I would come back to him but I can't.." She heard the door oepn as the music blasted through the door. She didn't open her eyes or move from where she was but felt a guy wrap his arms around her and lay his head against hers. She opened her eyes slowly and looked up and saw Blue's hair against hers. "Blue.." Her knees started to shake.
Blue held her tighter and moved closer to her. "Shh.. It's ok now Kat, I'm here for you and always will be." He said softly.
"But all of you vampires always out live us humans." She mumbled.
He laughed a little and smiled. "You have always said that since we were little kids. When winter comes along I'll talk to your dad and sees what he thinks about it." He would do anything to make her happy and would die for her without a second thought. He looked down at her then moved closer to her and kissed her gently.
Kat wanted to pull away from him just incase Mark walked outside and saw them but couldn't force herself to do so. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back, she felt like melting . Then the door opened again and heard, "What the hell?" She pulled away from Blue and looked at the furious Mark. "Oh no.."
Mark walked over to them and pulled Kat away from Blue. "I don't want you near my girlfriend anymore! I don't care who you are to her!" He yelled.
Kat pulled herself away from him. "Your not my boyfriend now leave me alone!" She ran off while Blue called her name while he ran after her. She stopped in the clearing of a forest as the moon shoned down on her.
Blue stopped behind her and held her hands gently. "Kat.. If he isn't your boyfriend then what is he to you then..?"
"He is just some guy that used force to get what he wanted and he wanted me sadly.." She turned around and hugged him tightly. "I never forgot about you once, I always hoped to see you again so you can make that promise of yours come true." She said while smiling a little.
Blue hugged back tightly and kissed her head. "I can't make the promise come true until we take care of that idiot." He looked at her hand and smiled. "And you never took off that ring I gave you 5 years ago." He looked up at the night sky and smiled. "I remember when we were younger and we would just sit outside for hours and watch the stars and moon."
She laid her head against his chest and looked up at the sky. "Yeah, I remember that." She smiled then closed her eyes while holding onto Blue still.
That night Blue and Kat just sat in the forest talking about what they have been doing for the passed five years without each other. Blue woke up and was holding Kat tightly while she was asleep with her arms wrapped around his waist. He laughed alittle and smiled. "I slept so much better even though we are outside on the forest floor."
Kat opened her eyes alittle and looked up at him. "Morning.." She said to him softly.
"Morning to you too." He move her hair from her face and kissed her cheek.
Kat blushed a little then sat up. She stretched and rubbed her head. "What time do you think it is?" She said as she tried to get her phone out of her pocket.
"Another time for your dad to call your phone and for me to answer and tell him or with me then freak out and made his way to my house."He said while smiling a bit. "Come on let get going because they are waiting for us." He stood up and picked her up. "Everyone is going to be happy to see you again." He started walking towards the house while carrying her.
Kat wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled then heard a noise coming from the bushes infront of them. She looked over at them sat up a bit in his arms.
Blue sighed then kicked a rock into the bush and heard a yelp come from it. "Come on out Hunter." He watched as a boy around his age with brown hair and black eyes walk out of the bush rubbing his head.
"You didn't have to be so mean. I just wanted to say hi to my little brother's girlfriend after she has been gone for 5 years." He said while smiling.
A figure dropped from the tree behind Blue and Kat then wrappede a rope around them tightly and knocked Blue's knees from under him so they are on the ground struggling. "Welcome back Kat!"
Kat struggled while trying to get free and at the guy that knocked them over. "I'm going to kill you chance I swear to god!" She screamed at him.
Chance and Hunter laughed then picked them up. "Don't worry we will carry both of you home now." Thay walked through the forest until they stopped infront of a big house. "We are here!" They dropped them on the ground and walked to the house.
Blue grunted when they were dropped then struggled more. "Just give me one moment.." He breathed in deeply then snapped the ropes. He sighed and stood up and help her to her feet then looked at the house. "We still live in this place."
Kat smiled and started walking to the house with him. "This isn't far from ours." She said while she walked in with him.
Blue laughed a little and walked up the stairs and then made his way to the last room at the end of the hall. He sat down on his bed and pulled her into his lap. "Nothing has changed since you have been gone beside a few things but nothing much."
She looked at him and tilted her head a bit. "What were the few things that changed?" She watched him close his eyes and sigh. "Blue you know you can tell me anything and you know that." She kissed his cheek.
Blue blushed a bit and laughed. "I finished that book you wanted me to finish so you could read it and other stuff but it doesnt matter."
She hopped out of his lap and looked around the room and found the book he was talking about and smiled. "This is mine now since your done with it." She said while she was still smiling and looking through the book at where she last lefted off at with a old bookmark.
Blue stood up and walked up behind her. He closed the book and smiled. "You can read later. Right now you have to tell me what you have been up to for the passed five years."
A few hours passed by since Kat arrived at Blue's house. Kat smiled then kissed him and picked up her book. "I have to get going but I promise I will see you tomorrow morning." She walked out of the house and into the forest while holding her book to her chest. She hummed to her self and hear a noise but just ignored it and kept walking to her house. A guy appeared behind her then kept walking behind her quietly. He put a clothe over her mouth while her eyes widen and she started to struggle and kick but moved slower and slower. "Goodnight Kat." He whispered as he watched her body go limp and picked her up.
The guy looked at the book she dropped and smirked. "To bad Blue." He stomped the book into the ground and started walking with her in arms. He walked into a abonded warehouse then sat kat down on the ground and started to tie her up. "You knew this was going to happen to you once you said those words then went back to him." He tied her wrists together with a chain then put a hook between one of the links. Te guy grabbed Kat's phone from her pocket and looked through her phone book. "We should make a call to Blue." He called blue and put the phone to his ear.
Blue was sitting on his bed reading a book when he heard his phone go off. He closed his book, got up and walked to his desk on the other side of the room. "Kat." He flipped open his phone and put it to his ear. "Hello?"
The guy smirked. "Hey Blue, It's me Mark. Don't ask any questions because Kat's life is in your hands and you have one hour before I decide to kill her. Good luck." He closed the phone then drops it onto the ground and stomps on it.
Blue's eyes widen, he had to get to her before he did anything to her. He closed his phone and grabbed his coat and ran out of the front door. "Just hold on Kat I will be there soon I promise you that.."
Mark sat down in a chair looking at his watch watching the time go passed then smiled. "There's only five minutes left and it's not like he is going to make it anyways so let's just get the party started." He stood up and took a knife out of pcoket and walked over to Kat then put the knife to her cheek and dragged it across as it started to bleed and the blood starts to fall onto her clothes and onto the ground.
Kat started ot wake up after being knocked out in the forest. She opened her eyes and feel the knife being dragged across her other cheek. "Ahh!" She screamed and struggled wildly. She finally gave up and looked at Mark. "What do you want with me?! I want to go home and get rid of you from my life!"
Mark slapped her and looked at her. "Don't worry I will be out of your life but your going to be the one that dies here. I called Blue and told him he had a hour to save you but it's been passed that so it seems like he doesnt care about you."
Kat's eyes started to tear up as she shook her head. "It's not true! Blue will be here and he will save me then kill you ! I know he wouldn't leave me in a place like this!" And as she said that the glass above them shaddered and fell to the ground.
Blue jumped down to the ground then landed infront of him then kicked him in the face. He walked over to Mark while he started to crawl away and telling him to stay away from him. Blue smiled then grabbed him and slammed him against the wall. "You shouldn't have touched her or took her away from me." He slammed his hand into his chest and then pulled it out. "Go die you scum." He walked over to Kat.
Mark fell to the ground holding the hole in his chest and breathing deeply. "I swear I'm going to kill you..." His eyes faded then his breathing and heart stopped at the same time.
Blue lifted Kat up from the hook then sat her on her feet then removed the chains from around her wrist then untied her.
She hugged back and nuzzled her head into his chest. "I'm so glad that you came here before he did something worst." She felt him pick her up and she wrapped her arms around his neck and started to close her eyes while he carried her out of the warehouse. "I love you Blue.."
Blue looked down at her and smiled "I love you too Kat.. Now go to sleep your tired. I'll be right next to you when you wake up in the morning." He kissed her head and watched her fall asleep.
