Since The Beginning

Torn and bleeding;
Drug across a thousand miles.
Begging and pleading
as frowns turn to smiles.
Ravaged by the sea.
Like a dream;
Who else seen these things?
As power gleams
everything agrees.
With a notion it seems
like it's another creed.

Swam across oceans.
Fields were run,
Ripped through mountains,
and swooped down from the sun.
In the end it all began again
