The Poet's Heart -------------------------------------------
A sincere sigh escapes the vices of this poet's mind while on the inside his heart tightly grips the reasons for his lies
And at the same time his lips drip the red words forced out from within by the lies of these parasites
Alone and surrounded by night he begins the fight he so longed to ignite, the fight between his past and this present time
The tears slowly find their way to the empty space between the earth and his lifeless face and he watches them fall one by one in a timeless race
Where they go only he can say and saying anything on this day is a pain he can never erase
Their faces in his mind and their laughter in his ears
If only he could kiss them and wipe away all their worries and their fears
They were taken from him and hidden away in a strange land where no man is allowed to be present without command and these people take pride in what they should never lay a hand on and when they do we're supposed to commend them and give them a reason to be at ease with the position they chose to "land" in
He fights to make it right to hold back his cries to slow down time and in the end they point the finger and leave him breathless on the outside
Keep on trying....
God help him.....just try...
