    dotsWho Is To Blame?dots
    -------------------------------------------

You blame me for the betrayal
and you blame me for the lies.
You blame me for the cheating
and called me a whore in disguise.
I blamed you for leaving me
when my heart could soar free.
If I attempted to abandon you
your love would have followed me.
You blame me for stealing all of
your secrets and your precious time.
I blame you for giving me a needless
love I would rather leave behind.
You blame me for the night's alone,
waiting for me in the cold dark.
I blame you for up and leaving me
after you snatched my beating heart.
    I've made various mistakes and
I will live with them until my death.
You had your right and will to leave
but you stole my heart as you left.
Can't you return with what belongs to me
and just leave it at the door?
I'm tired of aching all the time for you
when I don't want to love you anymore.

It sucks sometimes, right? I used to laugh at people who say we can't choose who we love, but I feel differently now. Hopefully we can love more than one person though...the silver lining. :)

    Great poem.
