The boy caressed my cheek, running his smooth fingertips along it gently. He cooed and whispered my name softly into my ear, sticking his tongue out to lick the lobe affectionately. My head tilted backwards as I giggled. Heart thudding against my ribcage, I cringed as he bit my ear and tugged at it. Everything felt way too good, way too perfect.
Hands on my shoulders, he turned me around to face him. My eyes gazed into his light blue orbs, transfixed in the strong emotions they held. His face moved closer to mine, inch-by-inch, closer and closer. I leaned up as much as I needed to reach his lips with mine. Slowly, we kissed, parting our lips in unison.
Drawing his head back, the boy stared down at me, a sly smile covering his face. I blinked irregularly, head tilting to the side like a confused puppy-dog. What was he thinking? I watched as his hand rose up. My first thoughts were that he would caress my cheek like earlier or possibly play with my hair.
The force of the impact sent me to the floor, the back of my head hitting against the wall. I yelped in surprise, placing a hand on my forehead and rubbed at it. My eyes shot open, instantly filling with tears. I struggled to blurt out a sentence, beginning to cry like a child.
“Why? What--“ I hiccupped mid-sentence, fighting the urge to burst into hysterics. “Why would you do that?”
He chuckled, grinning wildly. His voice was low and harsh as he whispered, “Hun, you’re only part of a game.”
