    dotsReversing Polarity 2dots

It has been my conclusion of late
    With a mind to watch
    And bemoan my fate
And think only of those things I lost

And nothing of which, to which I gained

Yes a conclusion of late and a collusion of years
To let me wallow in a sorrow that was not my own

I; shame facedly have to admit, became shallow

I let all the sunlight slip from me
As if it was no more than wasted time
And all the pain and hurt I felt
Never reminded me of all the love I feel
    And that love
    Was always mine

I do not feel though willingly
I let my feet go astray
Rather dazzled blindly by a morose and morass of grey
I considered an almost bittersweet agony
    To be friendly
    In its way

    Silly me

    Silly, silly me

    I have to remind me

    Silly me

To see everything dark and dismal
    Every burned crap carbuncle
    Like some infectious demonoid
To encircle my life and draw my dawn to its welcoming pit

And I sunk, scrabbling at its walls
    With some maniac hope
    Of deliverance
And never realising that the bottomless
Wasn’t colder than the proverbial well diggers ass
    But a mere cosset
In which they would have me bid
    Hide my love

    And hidden it was
    Quite and enthusiastically camouflaged
By the bemoaning of my lot

    That is
    When in reversing my polarity
    It finally came to me
Sigh; and after, all these dumb fuck years
    Yup clever
    Smart and remarkable me
    It finally dawned on me

    Stupid, silly me

Though I say it with a smile
    And lovingly

“If you’re not part of the solution
“then you’re part of the problem

Did I want to be a problem
    Or a solution

    And after reading this poem

Which one do you think I chose
