    dotsThe Princess Elfdots

    Hello Elfin he said

Captivated by her delicate and sylph demeanour
    Smiling eyes of ageless shinning
    All tousled dark hair
And flower braids on alabaster skin
While in the snow drop dew
    He felt his heart melting

With the twitch of some fading shyness
She bolstered up on some sense
    Of dare to
    Perhaps a little confused
But still a teasing humour enthused
At her own misplacement in the senses, sense of order
Brought her own bright energy of disorder

    So much love, he thought
As if the ages flowed in translucent veins
So much courage and strength contained
In this sweet slip of a girl
    So much glowing passion
To make his heart beat upon its rapid intoxication
On the sound of her excited giggle
And in the snow drop dew
    He felt his soul
Drifting into the quiet autumn pools
    Of hypnotic sighs

So tall and muscular he felt beside her
Some ancient Knight he might have been there
    And in his fibre
    Wanted ever to protect her
    To hold her safe
    In this her exuberant freedom
    Should she need it
Gladly he would give and be her guardian

His prize and treasure simply to watch
    As this fairy light
    Danced in the deeping forests
    While all her dreams responded
    Coaxed from out their realms
Where on this moment in the snow drop dew
He felt his heart and soul did truly melt

Quiet now; the pounding of his pulse
    The whisper of her voice
Soothes and slips him from the troubles of thought
And on the leaves in barefoot she leads
    Into the forest deeps

There they made their silent pact
    And wedded
There they stay of naked love
    Dancing together endlessly
