Dropping, hanging on the serrated edges of a sharp and damp leaf
Dripping, seeping, damp and moist
Through and out
The roof of my roofless home
Or house of no-dwellers
The keen, knifelike piercing memories
Of bygone and departed days,
Of nights long and mornings, afternoons.
The life long memories,
When life and its charms were full of life,
Of beauty, cheers and joys. A life!
No life can one find. No more!
The starlit starry sparkling night of a no-dweller
Is like a one Confounded, Beguiled and Cheated out of his wits
Left in the middle of a long protracted journey,
At sea without a sail!
Irritating, and slashing is the wind in the sprinkling drizzling,
Flesh bound to sear and burn,
In a raging icy fire of no smoke.
