dotsI Said My Goodbye. Where's Yours?dots

Have you ever poured your feelings out to someone,
Told them they are you're world,
And they are the one of you?

What do you do when they just shoot you down,
    Not giving a second glanse,
    not reavaluating the situation?

    I know what I did,
    I give up,
    I lost control...

When I should have been standing up,
Not letting anyone get me down,
Keeping my head held high and proud.

    That was a mistake,
    Everybody makes mistakes,
    And trust me,
I won't be making that same mistake again.

No more begging for you back,
Endless calls waiting for an answer,
Unreplied messages waiting in your inbox...

    Because why should I care,
    When you don't even care?

You will never have a place in my heart again,
    There's no going backs,
    No replays for my love,
    No more second chances,
You've already had your fair share.

    You had your chance,
    And now it's gone.
    Don't regret it,
    Live on happily.

    Like I know I will.

I know exactly what this is like, Iíve been there. And ya after a years of sulking and pity me I realized that theyíre out there having a good time and Iím here being pathetic, why should I be this way. I was showing every body that that person was better then I was when really thatís not the case. So ya I began holding my head high and proving to myself that I didnít really need that person cause they never really was there, and what I had in my heart for that person I threw it away cause it was eating me inside and tanking space. This was an interesting poem it reminded me how I can change my own life and that really you canít be held down if you donít let yourself. But it also takes work to keep you self going so if anything donít give up, life keeps going.

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
