Sorry for the absence Kaygirl. I really appreciate your comments. Hope I'm getting better at the storyline. I almost forgot what it was about.

    dotsThe Puppet: Recognitiondots

As I sat there, holding my dear Sam in my arms, I wandered if I was to ever be part of a normal, functioning family. One of those families that can go out and eat, or see a movie, or simply go to the park, and not be attacked by a paranormal entity that wanted to devour my soul. I quickly decided that was not in my near future, and dragged myself back to reality. I looked Sam in the eyes, and kissed her lightly on the lips. After I stayed for a while, I headed over to the library. It was now early in the morning, and they had just opened. It's been 3 days since I had a night of sleep, so I wasn't going to be here long and concious at the same time. I found a book entitled, "Your Family Tree and You" and checked it out. Were else to start then the begining, right? I argued with Jackie the entire way home, trying to convince him that the book in my hands had nothing to do with him, but, alas, he didn't buy it. When I got home, something I did not expect happened. Jackie managed to manifest himself in my home, right before my eyes, without any hesitation. He cornered me, and slammed me into the wall. "Listen you ungrateful, parasitic human, I am here to stay, the only one that will be leaving is you! Do you understand?"
I simply replied, "Yes, I do."
He said, "Good, Acceptance, the 3rd step. 2 more left."
I realized that I was quickly running out of time, and had to think of something to do. I rushed upstairs, and began doing my research.
"Anxiety, the 4th." He echoed about 3 hours later, and then at hour 6, I was passed out on the desk. Jackie leaned to my ear and whispered, "And finally, Exhaustion. Welcome to hell Matthew."
