    Where was it written
This life should be born into death
    The stone cold hearts
    Reign down upon you
    And turn the gift
    To a tortuous path

    And yet
The robot feels inside its cocoon
And all the thinks and things
It things and thinks it needs
    The agony binds
    To the trap

    Cold clamour for attention
    A perpetual advert
To the bright and shiny enslavement
    This life of commercial footballism
Cuts at the root without concern
    And the robot
    Plays along

    Where is it written
Our children should be born into this death
    To sell their souls
    For the pennies worth
    The stone cold hearts
    Reign down upon them
    Turning the gift
    Into another tortuous path

Sheep before the muck shovel of television
    The sucking straw
    Without opinion
    Without question on
Your little electrified teat of boredoms ambrosia
Cuts to the root without concern
    While the robots
    Play along

Teach them by your same rigmarole
    To follow
    Blind, dumb and ignorant
    Of the sallow obituary
Handed to them by the same blank acceptance
    Be comfortable with the chains
    Of freedom of choice
    To chose
    From the rotting pile
The little electrified teat of monotonous nectar

    Club together
    Point the finger
    See them suffer
    All those who stand alone
    Let them starve
    Let them burn
In your peer sanctioned acquittal of conscience

    Retire to your comfortable homes
    Where the robots
    Play along
