    dotsDrained of all emotiondots
    -------------------------------------------

    i feel so drained,
    of life, love,
    and and emotion.
    i want so much
    to lay down and cry.
but i know this will do
    me no good.
nor is it the answer i seek.
    although, i think the answer
is far worse than the issue itself.
and that in it self is so very bleak.
someone once told me that love is over-rated.
and now im beginning to see
    that it could be true.
i didn't want to believe this.
    i had ideals and fantasy's
    about what love should
    rightfully be.
    i have heard
    that with love comes
    pain,
    and with that pain,
    comes joy,
    and blissful happiness.
i think that not allowing yourself,
to get close to anyone is safer,
than feeling the pain, anger and shame.
that leaves you feeling this way.
being alone can only be lonely if you
    allow yourself to feel.
