dotsBeing Centred ( A Letter to my Dear Friend Amanda dots

................. .... the calm you, the believing you, the faith you, the quiet you, the serene you, the you that watches you even when you are watching you, the you that sits outside of all of this and see’s it all and does not judge….
we all know this other us…
we feel it, it is the part of us which is watching… we think, it is us, watching us…. or listening to us in our thought processes …. that part of us which knows us completely and for many, its abstract nature finds expression in the term God, or higher being or universe… we separate this us, from ourselves, because we cannot believe that we are in anyway shape or form remotely God like….

throughout our recorded history we have been separated from God, always seen as The Gods, The Divine Being, The Angels, The Christ, The Buddha… and in so doing, each and every time, we have denied God and the existence of God. Placing God in some isolated Godlike realm all of its own, we ostracise God to the conceptual formulations of divinity and never see God as being right here, right now, in this moment, or even sitting here writing or reading these words…

why, because you, we, us, we do not feel worthy of God. Even though every conceivable essence of our being is derived from the Universal being… still we feel separated from God…. this is a mental delusion, a nightmare if you wish. It is a ridiculous postulation to suppose that we, here on this tiny planet, amidst the stars; with all our complexities of life, chemistry, atoms, energies, emotions, dreams, spirit and realities are in some way, and some how, disconnected from the very substance which created us in the first place…. in fact, it is preposterous to think so.
Such a belief merely indicates the arrogance of the human ego and the blind stupidity …. to think and believe that mankind was made, separate from the rest of creation and this small blue green planet on the edge of a spiral galaxy is the deserved focus of all Gods attention; and that such a small number of human-beings would the be deserving of Gods Judgment day …. when the number of stars and galaxies in existence out number us in the billions to one… and that we the human race are the only living creatures within the entire and vast cosmos of creation….. and we are the only ones who have a book which contains the word of God….

Preposterous; Ridiculous; Egocentric to the Nth degree of … icity

and if it were not such a heart rendering failure on the part of mankind, to realise this simple and basic truth, it would be laughable…... but so much suffering, so many centuries of suffering have been endured by humanity, because of this unwillingness to accept their connection to the divine…. so much suffering, torment and pain has issued from this one denial that at some point, one might of thought we would all stop and say to ourselves, “hang on a mo, there’s something not quite right here” and then looked at the very isolated nature of our our suffering and asked ourselves, “why”..... not the “why am I here and what is it all for”, why; but rather, “why am I choosing to suffer, when all of creation surrounds me and does not appear to be suffering at all …..

We have divided ourselves from God by this mental rift of separation…. as if God were out there somewhere, somehow and not “in” here, somewhere, somehow…

the complete acceptance and connection to the divine heart, is to realise, know, fully and without any shred of doubt, that “you” are God…and that every aspect of this Universal divinity flows through you, as it does through every individual around you…

On waking up this state, or level of consciousness; Mankind did not fall from the garden of Eden, she/he just stopped believing it was there, because they stopped believing in their own true state of grace, and their own individual divinity. They stopped believing in God.

And anyone, to this day, who sees God as being external to themselves, does not believe in God at all, but merely believes in a concept of God, even though they feel this centred, benign and loving essence of themselves everyday, watching them, watching itself and just waiting to be realised.

It is said that choice, and the freedom to choose is mankind’s greatest gift and its greatest curse.

the complete acceptance and connection to the divine heart, is to realise, know, fully and without any shred of doubt, that “you” are God…and that every aspect of this Universal divinity flows through you, as it does through every individual around you…

Complex, thought provoking, humbling, enlightening, randomly beautiful.

So much of what you say is true, we do separate ourselves from the basic life force propelling us forward. This piece is really something to be read and reread to really understand all of it.

Your friend Amanda is lucky to have an open-minded friend to rely on for these things. You've written it beautifully. Great job.
