    dotsThe Stumbling Roaddots

Here on the manacles of time
In the surreal arms of thought
    Comprehension ploughs memory
And all the whispers it bears
    Each a wondrous tale
    All speaking a story.

    To begin is to end
When actually there is no stop
    As imbued rhythm never ceases
    Let desire be a start
To allow the echo to begin
    And the words have flight.

All of reason have thristled this path
Swamped with choices on the road
But to each his experienced journey
    To decide sprouts a stand
    Then knowledge you must understand
Its lose being the sand holds.

    Desire is a friend
    A trustworthy comrade
    An understanding companion
    Yet it beclouds in mystery
    Giggling behind a veil
    Tempting but unrevealed.

    Its innocence is subtle
    Calling in voices soft
    With pleas of comfort
    Therein lies its consideration
    Lashing its weight on scales
    And shaking the balance.

Desire seeks to fill a need
    The satisfaction of want
    An identification of specific lack
    Associated with expectations
    That portray yearnings
    Concealed in cravings.

    A desire hidden
    Prowls in the shadow
    And brings the dark
    It takes graces flourescence
    To find illumination
    And tread with the light.
    An objective gotten
    Is a mark of attainment
    The testament of achievement
    Its fruits are rich
    Each grain bountiful
    A harvest of wealth.

    To harness an aim
    In natural purpose
    Lets desire seek a goal
    Stringing up priority
    Weighing the schedule
    With success topmost.

    Unbriddled desire rages a storm
    Fosters a whirlwind
    The emptiness of a tornado
    To go beyond the crest
Is to fall off the peak
    And never make the zenith.

But desire sings in a spring
Is the sun in the stream
    And smiles in all waters
    It aspires only to obey
    Wants just to serve
    Exists only to follow.

    A testament of value
    An appreciation of worth
    Harbours on vintage
    Anchored in faith
    That show belief
    On the chain of intuition.

    The opinion taken
    Is a choice plucked
    Expressed desire picked
    Many prefer an easy float
    However the enjoyment of sail
Depends on sweats on the row.

    The triumph of goal
    And satisfaction of objective
    Rests on desires motives
    Outlined by taken steps
    Questing tasks on a roadmap
    For achievement of a gameplan.

    A ferocious desire ignited
    Is the ash burning
    Spreading a hurricane of flame
It takes grace to have it mastered
    Unity to hold it tame
    And shackles to control.

Given wings you become a prey
A thrashing stone just another victim
    Focally prejudiced and a captive
    Thus the primary of askance
    Vested in thorough inquisition
    On all worthy of pensal.

    To harness desire requires sight
A perception borne on constant look
    And the breath of vision
    Established on aspect consequences
    Trotting with doubtful products
    The veritable undesirable fruit.

    Avoidance of its discord
Emplaces a nest free of strife
    And unembraced by conflict
    An atmosphere of truth
    Bounded by honesty
    And expressed in clarity.

The angle to some is clear
    With each step sure
    Sanctioned by perception as right
    To others muddled
    A venture stacked with haze
    Contemplation of doubt.

    With winds cast to net
    Or numbers make their mark
The fate is in the hook
    For desire cant be banished
    Subjected to dismissal
    Or rendered an exile.

    Its bristling energy’s source
    Ominent to mortal origin
    Is balanced on lifes point
    Sculptured in tendencies
    Expressed by learnings
    Reflected by inclinations.

    Decision made brings a reaction

    With manifest effect
    Desire leading the response
    This being the established way
Judgement by the order of things
    Weighing on certain nature.

    A choice claims debt
    Ensuring ample payment
    Bestowing an award of price
    Its fruit entails the task
    Bringing satisfaction with effort
    Calling for proof of labour.

    Longings visualise innocence
    A spectacle of freshness
    That appears to be clean
    The conflictions of their vibrations
    Generates striven pulsations
    That disorder tenured heartbeats.

    Surely desire needs an oracle
    Frequent pilgrimages to its shrine
    Bringing petitions to its altar
    Then appreciate its background
    The pillars of its framework
    And balance its structure.

    Many wallow in pits
    Stumble in dark depths
    Then lose to the abyss
    Their desires are taboo
    The hallow’d curse
    Foretelling certain plague.

    To assert one’self
    Is direction to the soul
    And expression of spirit
    As desire laps instruction
    Waits for command
    And executes the order.

    When choices establish
    They soon sprouts manifest
    And become real
    To balance the precipice
    On natures cliff
Is to step on lifes hill.

    Desires sprinkle on a sieve

    Cascade on a strain
    Each and all seperate
    Differences must be picked
    Doubts uprooted
    And deception removed.

    An objectives clench
    Requires choices to cling
    For desire to be grasped
    As desire cant be extinguished
    Simply quenched
    Or said to be lost.

I couldn't read through all this. It seems more a polemic of random thought than poetry. I did pick up some good lines. You should use some of the individual thoughts expressed to write a shorter piece that will not put off a reader with length. Don't try to say so much as to not have any listeners.

It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
