You said today was today, And tomorrow would be another day, But today was yesterday, and tomorrow you'll be gone. You said the sunrise is a start, Granting the world a breath of life, But the sunrise is the end, The end of my everlasting night. You said my dreams can come to life, Extend your hand, you said, and take it, But as I stretched my hand in hope, It was left frozen in time, wanting. For all your well wishes and kind words, for all your promises and thoughts, Disillusion is your gift to give, Deception is your skill, It's sealed.
